  I beleive that rationalism and faith are 2 modes of beleif that exists in varying degrees of conflict. First of all, rationalism is mainly based on a reason or evidence. Faith on the other hand is based on inspriration, revelation and authority. Faith and rationalism are sometimes used as synonyms. The two words are very overated by Greek Phillsophers and and highly debated too. There are basically two categories that you can view about faith and rationalism.
