End of the year

We entered as middle school graduates and left as freshmen. It was a great time over the 10 months but the time has come for us to depart. The break will cause many faces to be hidden and some shown over and over again. A year of acadamics have passed, a year that many wish to get back. The grades may reflect the feelings that we express; over the summer. What meaning does this have? To have a break from school? What does it mean for us to take break from something that we go to from the majority of our currently short lives. Is this to make us think that school is not all that life has offer? Is this to prepare ourselves for the freedom that comes shortly after school but just before the days of hard work the office? Is this break something speacically engineered to help us in the future? Is everything we do something to help us in the future?
