Vandalism isn't a crime. This talks about how vandalism escalates to gang activities and group crime. Vandalism starts out simply as peer pressure or ignorance. This act affects people by making them pay for the damage that immature people have caused. People like that not only have an affect on themselves but on other people in the community.

"Vandalism is a stupid and annoying act", says Stanley LaFave. It is a worldwide problem and affects everybody. People ask for change in the way we live but they don't have the money because of people like Vandals. Vandals should be caught and charged for their damage.

The article is about what influences teens to Vandalize. Researchers found that children have problems at home and are not comfortable talking about it so they express their feelings through "art". They have made a program for children who have problems with family to come in and share how they are feeling. So that keeps children away from Vandalism and us away from paying.

A roadside cross was knocked down and destroyed by a group of kids and was Vandalized. Towns people did not lodge a complaint to the police but they recreated the cross. People in the Town should not be fixing the cross because they did not destroy it.
