Does a Student’s Large Mental Capacity Take Him or Her to a State of Laziness?

This article is about how students shouldn’t be referred to as intelligent since that will degrade their performance in school because it will trigger laziness. The author is a teacher. My question has to do with it since it shows that a student’s idea of themselves being intelligent creates the idea that doing work is unneccesary and makes them lazier.

This shows that students aren't always lazy because they don't have a large ability, but for other reasons. Therefore, students who do have a large ability can be lazy. The two authors, Boulton-Lewis and Gilmore interviewed 20 students who are lazy to write their article.

This page is about the problems intelligent students in elementary school have. The author finished Hunter College. Since they have acknowledged that intelligent students can be lazy, my question is appropriate.

It is about the students who have a high standard of emotional intelligence and how they act in school. The two people who wrote this were Stella Mavroveli and Maria Jose Sanchez-Ruiz. The way they wrote this was to not only tell us what these kinds of students are like but to also expand and talk about other areas. At one point, the author tells us that emotional intelligence doesn't necessarily get students good grades, which means that emotional intelligence doesn't counteract laziness, giving my question an affirmation.
