Does a decentralized curriculum help improve the intrinsic goals of students?

     The author is Ninni Wahlstrom, and she collected this data by comparing two countries, USA and Sweden, with the shifts of privatization. This is about changes that happen to the education system when a school system is changed from a centralized system to a decentralized system. This relates to my question by analyzing the changes to the students when the changes affect them, and how a decentralized curriculum opens up new possibilities and reduces their limitations.

     The author is Heidi May, she collected this data using surveys. This article is about the changes of the classroom atmosphere between the students and the teacher. This article relates back to my question by the decentralized curriculum having the classroom not having a hierarchy of power, this changes the way the class could communicate to the teacher and have the students feel equality.

     This paper is about the way that the school system is building up extrinsic motivation and how they should build up intrinsic motivation for the students. This relates to my question by students not having their inner motivation for their own success, that their motivation is something they may not be proud of.

     This is about the benefits of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on college students and professors on learning. This relates to my question by the students may not have the right motivation on learning and/or doing well in a school environment.

     This article is about the two factors that influence a student's motivation to their goals, a psychological factor and the environmental characteristics. This relates to my question by the environmental and psychological factors that would influence a student on going for their goals, and how the curriculum affects it.
